“INSTEAD, IT WILL REPRESENT OUR
MATERIAL BODIES IN ALL THEIR CARNAL GLORY”

Chet Julius Bugter (1994)

ARTISTIC AND EMBODIED RESEARCHER | WRITER | EDUCATOR

I utter a cry of resistance against the industrial fashion system, which denies the power and importance of the body at its centre, by proposing new perspectives on said fashion system, and setting out to make it more embodied, diverse, and inclusive.

Through (participatory) performance, workshops, written and visual essays, self-publishing, and film, I aim to restore the power of the living bodies within fashion.

You can get in touch with me here (also for my portfolio and CV). Take a look here for visual notes and selfies as self-love practice, or check out my embodied practice, or keep up-to-date with my comradely publishing platform.
